Mental Health Therapist

Full Time • Rankin County
We are currently searching for dedicated clinical professionals to provide compassionate psychotherapy services to individuals with a mental health, intellectual/developmental disability or substance use disorder diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake assessments, individual, family and group counseling sessions for a caseload of youth and adults
  • Management of the clients’ medical records including, but not limited to, completion of all clinical documentation in a timely manner and the development and updating of Individual Service Plans
  • Provide immediate emergency crisis intervention services
  • Assist in providing and implementing consultation and education services as needed
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings, general staff meetings and in-service training
Education

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a Mental Health related field
Qualifications:

  • Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
  • Pass a Criminal Background Investigation
  • Must be proficient in computer skills for daily documentation with Electronic Medical Records
